SUMMIT GLOBAL LOGISTICS AUSTRALIA When one of our Australian export clients had a strict deadline to meet for the delivery of some machinery to the USA, Summit had to come up with some creative solutions. The machinery was very large, so the only practical way of transport to the USA was by container delivery by seafreight. However, the only ship that could take the equipment arrived into Los Angeles port two days before the delivery deadline in Atlanta. Adcom Los Angeles arranged for Customs Clearance in advance, priority unloading of the containers from the ship and had the containers on special trucks for a non-stop, two-driver delivery from Los Angeles to Atlanta. The arrangements worked perfectly, with Adcom making Summit a very happy Australian partner and allowing Summit to provide a perfect solution to a very happy Australian exporter.
